The purpose of Operation Inertia is to support the EVE Online community. I hope to accomplish this in several ways, such as streamlining useful information and providing a news outlet for the journalistic type. My good friend, Cynagen, will be helping me to do this by supporting development of this site and tools for players to use. I owe a lot to him, and I endeavor to build something really solid here.

The most important tool, I believe, will be managing an IdeaTorrent service. You can see IdeaTorrent already in action on Ubuntu's Brainstorm. I've found IdeaTorrent to be an excellent and unparalleled device in public proposition and community rating of new ideas. I'm disappointed that the design hasn't really caught on, leaving people to use forums or emails to discuss new plans and improving on old ones.
